Prompt Master is a Claude skill that writes prompts for your other AI tools. Ask for "a prompt for Cursor to refactor my auth module" and it identifies the target tool, asks at most three clarifying questions, picks one of 13 templates, and returns one paste-ready prompt. Profiles cover coding agents, chat models, and image, video and voice tools. MIT licensed and free.

Setup is a ZIP upload in Claude.ai's skill settings (the author's recommended path) or a git clone into ~/.claude/skills. Nothing to host. The main file runs about 5,000 words and loads into context whenever the skill fires. With chat history, it prepends a short "Memory Block" of earlier decisions so the new prompt doesn't contradict them.

No paid tier; it runs on the Claude plan or API you already pay for. Solo: free, most useful if you juggle many AI tools. Small and larger teams: free, a decent baseline for briefing agents, not a replacement for your own prompt library.

The catch: the model advice is hardcoded text, only as current as the last commit, and users have already flagged stale guidance. "Zero tokens wasted" is marketing; the skill costs thousands of tokens per run.
