WeCom CLI drives WeChat Work from the terminal. Send messages, manage contacts, push approvals, and wire any of it into scripts or CI, with output shaped so an AI agent can consume it as easily as a person can read it. Official tool from the WeCom team, MIT licensed, free.

There is nothing to host. Install the binary, authenticate with your WeCom app credentials, and you are issuing API calls. The design assumption is the interesting part: agent use is not an afterthought bolted on, it is the reason the output formatting exists, which is the same bet GitHub and Slack made with their own CLIs.

Cost is not the deciding factor here, because there isn't one. The real sizing question is geography. WeCom is Tencent's enterprise messaging platform and it dominates in mainland China, so this is either indispensable to your company or completely irrelevant to it, with almost nothing in between.

The catch follows from that. If your team is on Slack, Teams, or Discord, there is nothing here for you, and no amount of CLI polish changes it. Documentation and issues are Chinese-first as well. Well built for the audience it has, invisible to everyone else.
