Building a fitness app means commissioning exercise illustrations or licensing a stock library, and both cost money before you have a single user. Workout Guide is 302 exercises with three consistent frames each, 906 transparent 512 by 512 SVGs, wrapped in a typed npm package that does not care which framework you use.

The API is three functions: getExercise by slug, searchExercises with filters like equipment type, and getAssetUrl to pull a specific animation frame. Assets are checked into the repository, so you can import them directly or bundle them however you like, and the React Native import patterns are documented. There is a searchable static gallery if you want to browse the catalog before installing anything.

The licensing is split and you need to read it. Code and documentation are MIT. The artwork is CC BY-SA 4.0, inherited from the Everkinetic project this builds on, with additional exercises and animation frames layered on top. Share-alike means derivative artwork carries the same license and attribution is required. For most apps that is fine. If your legal team treats share-alike as radioactive, this is a no.

The catch: the project is new, so treat the three-frame animations as a starting point rather than a finished product, and the metadata is only as complete as the source catalog it imported. Worth saying out loud too, this is an asset library and not a workout engine. Programming, progression, and set tracking are still yours to build.
