x64dbg-mcp-server

x64dbg-MCP Server is a native MCP (Model Context Protocol) plugin for x64dbg that exposes the debugger's full functionality over HTTP. Connect any MCP-compatible AI assistant and control x64dbg programmatically: set breakpoints, step through code, read memory, dump registers, and more. The Lens

Connects a debugger rather than a SaaS API: x64dbg over MCP, so an assistant can set breakpoints, step, read memory, dump registers, scan patterns, walk xrefs, and inspect PE, PEB, and SEH structures. 84 tools, 22 event callbacks.

Setup is a file copy. Drop the plugin into the x64dbg folder and it starts on launch with a bearer token generated on first run. Written in Zig as one native binary, so no .NET or Python runtime. Both x64dbg and the plugin are free, community maintained by a single developer.

Worth installing for reverse engineering and malware analysis work. One caveat: the server binds 0.0.0.0 by default, so change that before running it anywhere but an isolated lab machine.

Free vs Self-Hosted vs Paid

fully free

Free

MIT licensed, all 84 tools and 22 callbacks, both architectures. x64dbg itself is GPLv3 and free. Nothing is gated.

Self-Hosted Costs

None. The plugin runs inside x64dbg on your own Windows machine or VM.

The Real Cost

Your model tokens. Driving a debugger through an assistant means shipping disassembly and memory dumps into context, and that is not cheap on a long session.

Free and MIT, and x64dbg is free too. The default 0.0.0.0 bind is the thing to fix, not the price.
