Free: $0 MIT desktop app: unlimited on-device transcription (Apple Silicon only), local recordings and audio player, bring-your-own keys for speech-to-text and AI, notes, folders and templates, chat and exports, local API, CLI, MCP server and webhooks, manual speaker labeling. Notes and transcripts live in local SQLite with Markdown export.

Self-hosted: Nothing to host for the community app; it runs on your computer (macOS 15+, Windows and Linux in beta). Fully local transcription needs an Apple Silicon Mac (Parakeet via Soniqo, Apple Speech on macOS 26, or a whisper.cpp .bin you choose). Elsewhere, point it at a Deepgram-compatible server on your network or use a hosted provider. Local summaries and chat via LM Studio, Ollama or Unsloth. Chat web search always goes through anarlog's hosted research endpoint (currently Exa).

Paid: Pro is $14/person/month or $140/person/year with a 30-day free trial: system-wide dictation, cloud transcription (Soniox primary), cloud LLM (Claude Sonnet via OpenRouter by default), better speaker identification, end-to-end encrypted sync (3 personal devices or 5 per workspace member), note and folder sharing, shared workspaces, members and roles, per-seat billing. Enterprise is custom: domain SSO and SCIM, sharing, retention and consent policies, audit visibility, customer-hosted capture and data plane. Code under enterprise/ is commercially licensed, not MIT.
