Nobelium
A static blog build on top of Notion and NextJS, deployed on Vercel.

Nobelium turns a Notion page into a real blog. You write in Notion, and this Next.js template renders it as a fast static site with search, tags, RSS, and comments, deployable to Vercel in a few clicks. MIT, completely free. It's the same job the paid Notion-to-site services charge monthly for.
Setup is about as easy as self-hosting gets. Fork the repo, drop your Notion page ID into the config, deploy to Vercel. There's no server or database to run because Notion is the backend. If you can follow a README, you can have this live in an afternoon.
For anyone who lives in Notion and wants a clean personal blog without paying Super.so or Potion.so every month, this is a great free option. Solo writers and small teams are exactly who it's for. If you want something more actively developed with more themes, look at NotionNext, which was built on top of Nobelium.
The catches are real but manageable. You're tied to Notion as your CMS, so if Notion's unofficial API shifts, your rendering can break. And Nobelium itself is in low-maintenance mode now, with day-to-day development moved to its NotionNext fork, so treat it as a stable, finished template rather than a fast-moving project. For a simple Notion blog, that's fine.
Free vs Self-Hosted vs Paid
fully freeFree: Everything (MIT). Self-hosted: Fork the repo, set your Notion page ID in config, deploy to Vercel. No server or database to run. Paid: None from the project. Notion and hosting are your own (both have free tiers).
Completely free and open source (MIT). You pay only Notion (free) and hosting (Vercel free tier covers most blogs).
