Kaneo is a lightweight open source project management tool. Think kanban boards, task tracking, and team collaboration without the enterprise bloat.

It is newer and less feature-rich than established alternatives, but that is the point. Sometimes you want a clean board and basic workflow without 47 configuration screens. The UI is modern and gets out of your way.

The catch: it is early. small community. If you need Gantt charts, time tracking, or advanced automations, this is not it. But for straightforward task management where the team just needs to see what is in progress, what is done, and what is next, it works.
